Bubba: Boulder Cup Day 1 & 2

From Bubba:
Boulder
Cup #1 at the Res. Not as much sand as last weekend, but still the same pain. 85 starters. After a shitty start I lost interest and just rode to finish the race. I ended up 63rd. There’s always tomorrow.

Boulder cup #2 at Harlow Platt Park. This race is a UCI C1 race. The highest level race there is…and all the freaks were here. Lots of grass, a bit of sand, and lots of corners. Scott and I were warming up and didn’t realize that everyone was being staged…so we rolled up DFL. The start was unreal…full gas up the road, around a round-a-bout, and dropped into the park. Coming into the barriers was wild…lots of peole yelling, and waving flags, and cowbells going off…pretty cool. We raced for an hour and it was painful. 81 starters…finished 53rd. I’ll take that considering the start.

NICE SOCKS BUBBA!
