From the man himself:
This course was a direct replica of the USGP race held at Xilinx 2 years ago. 2 miles in length…sand pit, 2 triple barrier’s, 1 single…no recovery…long, hot, and one hell of a fast race.
Starters 86…finishers 78. After an altercation in the sand pit following another rider, and forcing my rear wheel out…I managed 49th. In a field this size and competitive…any mistake will cost you. I got past by at least 10 riders while fixing the wheel on course.
I’ll take it.
